- HUFS includes Presidential, Achievers, Founders, Capstone, Leadership, Opportunity and Access awards; only one HUFS type may be received. Awards may be merit-based or need-based and can renew for up to eight consecutive undergraduate semesters or graduation. Amounts and tier thresholds are not published.

- Automatic consideration; no separate application. Domestic applicants submit FAFSA; international applicants ISFAA.

- Who can apply
- Incoming first-time-in-college fall applicants, including international and test-optional applicants. Domestic applicants need a FAFSA; international and DACA applicants use ISFAA. Merit considers academic records and optional tests; need-based tiers consider Student Aid Index.
- Good to know
- For the explicitly published Fall 2027 admission cycle, FAFSA/ISFAA priority follows November 1 EA/ED or February 1 RD. Merit and need-based HUFS tiers are distinct; test-optional applicants receive scholarship consideration. Award amounts depend on application/aid review. Accept terms in Bison Hub and sign/submit the acceptance agreement by the individually designated deadline. Renewal earned credits and GPA are specified in the individual acceptance contract and evaluated after spring grades.
