- How to apply
- Apply to UGA through Early Action by October 15, then begin the Morehead Honors application and complete its embedded Foundation Fellowship section, including biographical statement and video, by November 1. Admission recommendations are reused; finalists must attend the mandatory interview weekend.
- What you'll need
- An honors college application
- A video
- Who can apply
- Incoming students not previously matriculated at another university, including dual-enrolled high-school seniors and international applicants. Transfers/current undergraduates are excluded from this entering-student route. Strong academics, leadership, intellectual curiosity, talents and community contribution are considered; no numeric test minimum is stated on the current program application page.
- Good to know
- Current Honors stipend figures now match the previously recorded financial-aid chart, resolving that old disagreement. Maintain 3.40 cumulative UGA GPA, 12 credits per semester except summer, Honors good standing, program participation, travel reports and four-year graduation; live in Myers Hall first year. Ramsey merged into Fellowship in 2021. Mandatory interviews are explicitly February 26-27, 2027. The current high-school Honors page explicitly requires Early Action and a biographical statement/video through the Honors/Fellowship application. General financial-aid visa restrictions need confirmation because that page was inaccessible during detailed reread.
