Otis A. Singletary Scholarship

ListedCollege program
Award
Full in-state or out-of-state tuition and mandatory, course and program fees, renewable for four years, plus a housing and dining stipend for the first two years while living in a UK residence hall. UK does not publish the stipend's dollar amount.
Deadline
December 1, 2026: completed admission, competitive scholarship section and all supporting documents/qualifying test scores. Apply earlier because funds may be exhausted. Scholarship acceptance encouraged by May 1, 2027; any interview date is provided by invitation.
How to apply
Complete admission and its competitive scholarship section and submit all required supporting documents, including transcript and any qualifying scores, by December 1, 2026. Selected applicants may be invited to interview; awards are competitive.
Who can apply
3.80 unweighted GPA plus ACT 33/SAT 1450, OR 4.00 unweighted GPA with test-optional application. Incoming first-time freshmen, Kentucky residents/nonresidents and international applicants. Scores must be from one sitting; no superscoring.
Good to know
The current 2027-28 UK grid defines tuition and required-fee coverage for Kentucky residents and nonresidents and a housing/dining stipend limited to the first two years in campus housing. The stipend is real but its dollar amount is not public, so no cash maximum is implied. Continue at 12 credits per term and 3.40 cumulative GPA under published renewal rules.
