Deadline
Admission: November 1 ED I, November 10 EA, January 15 ED II/RD. Aid priority: November 15 ED I, December 15 EA, January 15 ED II, February 15 RD (years unstated). Current merit consideration follows the admission/aid process; Fall 2027 dates are unconfirmed.
How to apply
Complete admission, CSS Profile, FAFSA if eligible, requested supporting documents and optional test scores for fullest merit consideration. International non-U.S. citizens also submit the Declaration & Certification of Finances. No separate initial DHS application starting with the high-school class of 2026; an optional supplement may be uploaded.
What you'll need
  • No separate application: you are considered when you apply for admission
Who can apply
Incoming first-time undergraduate applicants, including international students. Academic excellence, leadership and community involvement are evaluated; published recipient GPA/test profiles are not minimums. Scores are optional but preferred for scholarship review; financial information may also be evaluated.
Good to know
At least 12 credits each fall/spring; June renewal review and academic/student conduct requirements apply. Cannot combine DHS with another Tulane merit award, ROTC, faculty/staff waiver or Tuition Exchange; partial athletic and qualifying need-based aid may combine. Admissions confirms the newer no-separate-application rule; older DHS aid text still mentions a scholarship application. Current Stamps and Grossman & Cohen are separate awards; a new Paul Tulane award is not established.
