- Full tuition for up to 18 credits per semester over ten consecutive full-time fall/spring undergraduate semesters. The scholarship overview explicitly extends all undergraduate merit awards to up to ten semesters.

- Submit freshman admission and all required materials, then the separate Presidential application in Billiken Gateway by the published priority date. Its materials include a 500-word leadership essay, résumé and two recommendations. Selected candidates are invited to interview; follow the current invitation for interview format and visit details.

- Incoming first-year applicants, including international students at the St. Louis campus; at least 3.85 cumulative high-school GPA weighted or unweighted on the junior-year transcript. SAT/ACT not required; international English proficiency rules still apply.
- Good to know
- Replaces other SLU merit awards. Presidential Scholars may request up to $1,200 for an investigative learning experience. Scholarship-specific renewal GPA is not provided on current award/catalog pages. The interview page is still the 2026 admitted-student cycle; 2027 dates/process need confirmation.
