Award
Comprehensive tuition, fees, housing, and food for four years, plus special opportunity stipends. Current official pages conflict on the stipend total: $10,000 on the nomination directory and $6,000 on the general scholarship page. Eight scholars are named in each entering class.

How to apply
A school counselor, principal/head of school, or community-based college access program representative may nominate up to two students using the official form. Davidson admission staff may also nominate strong applicants. Submit the admission application and required supporting documents, including recommendations, then participate in semifinalist and finalist interviews if selected.

Who can apply
Entering first-year students with outstanding academic accomplishment, character, leadership, and service. Domestic and international high schools or eligible college access programs may nominate. Renewal for the remaining three years requires the established GPA, progress toward degree, award-specific conditions, and full participation in college life; the numerical GPA is not published on these pages.
Good to know
The November 15 scholarship application deadline does not itself require selecting binding Early Decision. Confirm the stipend allocation and renewal GPA with the scholarship office.
