- Four-year Honors awards range from $4,000 per year to full cost of attendance, depending on the named scholarship. Examples include $20,000, $24,000, $30,000, and $40,000 total awards; Class of 1955 offers $4,000 per semester plus potential study abroad and internship funding. Sloan Endowed covers full cost of attendance for Pell-eligible students. Other awards have specific residency, major, or gender criteria.

- How to apply
- Apply to UNCG, then use the Admissions Portal invitation to submit the Global Honors application with a maximum 500-word essay and current resume. Scholarship consideration also REQUIRES the separate scholarship video essay by December 1 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern. Record independently; up to two re-recording attempts are allowed. Selected candidates interview virtually. Up to two admission recommendations are optional; there is no required Honors-specific recommendation.

- Who can apply
- Incoming students admitted to Global Honors. First-year eligibility requires 3.8 weighted high school GPA OR SAT 1280 OR ACT 26; tests are optional when qualifying by GPA. A special admission petition is available. Scholarship renewal requires at least 12 credits each semester, at least a 3.3 GPA each term, major satisfactory academic progress, progress toward Honors graduation, program events, and annual director meeting.
