- An interview
- Who can apply
- Incoming Fall 2027 freshmen; transfer, graduate, and continuing UH students are excluded. Test-optional candidates are considered. Published 1400 SAT/30 ACT/top-10% and recipient GPA profiles are not hard floors.
- Good to know
- Renewal requires at least 12 hours each fall/spring and 3.0 cumulative UH GPA. Degree-applicable credits must reach 30, 60, and 90 by the ends of the first three summers; eligible AP, dual, and transfer credits can count. Summer credits/GPA can help renewal, but summer tuition is not funded. Tier One replaces Academic Excellence funding rather than stacking with it.
