Deadline
Admission, transcript, scholarship application, essay, and activities list December 3, 2026. Selected second round in January or February 2027; exact event dates are not published.
How to apply
Apply for admission and submit a high-school transcript, then the separate Presidential Scholarship application with a maximum 250-word essay and activities/work list. Selected candidates attend an on-campus or remote second round with two faculty/staff conversations and an additional essay. SAT/ACT scores and admission recommendation letters are optional.

Who can apply
Incoming full-time undergraduates seeking their first bachelor’s degree; all majors may compete. Selection considers academic strength and leadership. No program entry GPA floor is published.
Good to know
The Presidential Program includes 25 named awards. Carthage's current aid table gives the Presidential award a 2.75 renewal GPA and several named awards a 3.25 GPA; consult the actual award notice for the applicable named condition. Second-round event invitations are sent individually, with exact dates not yet published.
