Marquis Fellowship and Marquis Scholarship
ListedCollege programUp to full tuition
- Award
- Marquis Fellowship: full tuition. Marquis Scholarship: half tuition. Both are tied to tuition and grow with annual increases, renewable for up to eight semesters with a 3.00 GPA.
- Deadline
- For fall 2027 entry, Regular Decision and Early Decision II admission applications are due January 15, 2027. The Marquis scholarship page still says January 5 and advises applying a few weeks early, so confirm the merit-consideration timing with admissions.
- How to apply
- No additional application. All first-time Early Decision and Regular Decision applicants are considered, and awards appear in the admission letter. An admissions interview is encouraged.
- What you'll need
- No separate application: you are considered when you apply for admission
- Who can apply
- First-time applicants to Lafayette. Offers typically go to students at the top of their class in the most demanding curriculum.
- Good to know
- The current fall 2027 admissions page says January 15, but the Marquis merit page still says January 5 and advises applying early. This conflicting merit timing remains unresolved. Lafayette also offers Cur Non Scholarships of $17,500 to $31,500; students whose enrollment depends on merit aid are advised to apply Regular Decision.
