- Award
- Published Fall 2026/Spring 2027 Brown and Gold Commitment: $12,000, $8,000, $5,000 or $3,000 annually according to the official GPA/test-score grid. Renewable for up to eight semesters or the first bachelor's degree, whichever comes first.
- Deadline
- For the published Fall 2026/Spring 2027 terms: confirm enrollment by May 1 at 11:59 PM MDT for fall or January 5 at 11:59 PM MST for spring. Final transcripts or scores are considered through the first day of the entering term.
- How to apply
- Automatic review with admission; students are first placed at the test-optional amount, then scores are checked for a higher tier.

- Who can apply
- New first-time nonresident degree-seeking students at Laramie or Casper; online programs are ineligible. Weighted or unweighted cumulative high school GPA is accepted. Students from WUE states are reviewed for WUE first. Separate grids apply to GED, HiSET and home-schooled applicants without GPA.
- Good to know
- The award page covers Fall 2026/Spring 2027. The official grid was checked. Funding requires the WyoScholarships general and any applicable recommended applications annually and usually cannot combine with other institutional aid. Renewal requires a 3.0 UW GPA, continuous enrollment in at least 12 credits each fall/spring and 24 completed credits annually.
