- Deadline
- Apply for admission by January 15 of senior year (priority).
- How to apply
- No separate application; submit ACT/SAT and transcript with the admission application.
- What you'll need
- No separate application: you are considered when you apply for admission
- Who can apply
- Incoming freshmen; GPA on a 4.0 unweighted scale. Merit awards require U.S. citizenship. For the separate Bulldog waiver, admitted students from AR, MS and TX qualify automatically; other-state freshmen need 2.5 unweighted GPA, ACT 23 or SAT 1130 and no remedial English or math requirement. Remedial exemption can be met through the published subscore, GPA, placement-test or college-course options. International students have a separate Bulldog eligibility policy.
- Good to know
- The merit table and January 15 senior-year priority date are not assigned a fall 2027 entering year. The official page currently confirms that the Bulldog waiver for other-state first-year students requires ACT 23 or SAT 1130, 2.5 unweighted high-school GPA and no remedial English/math need. Some indexed copies display a different older Category A.1 route, so the directly read current page controls. Merit awards last four years or up to 12 quarters with summer conditions; the Bulldog waiver has separate 2.0 renewal rules.
