Award

Full tuition, room and board, with business-focused programming and direct engagement with Omaha's business community. Creighton describes it as the university's top merit-based scholarship. Four years.

Deadline

Dates for fall 2027 entry are not yet posted. For the previous cycle, the admission application and credentials were due December 1 and the program application was due January 10, 2026.

How to apply

Submit the application for undergraduate admission, then complete the Distinguished Scholars Program application (opens in November in the New Student Portal) and an interview. In-person interviews at Distinguished Scholars Interview Day are encouraged; virtual interviews are available.

Good to know

The fall 2027 program application deadline is not published. Scholars generally may enroll in only one Distinguished Scholars program. Harper Nursing Scholars runs through the same process and offers $40,000 annually to seven to eight students.
