National Merit Scholarship (Marquette-sponsored)

Award
$3,000 annually for four years, additive to other Marquette scholarships. Corporate-sponsored National Merit awards below $3,000 are supplemented to that annual total.
Deadline
Name Marquette as first choice with NMSC by its final receipt deadline of May 31, 2027. Choices received before March 1, 2027 enter the first referral group.

Be a National Merit Finalist and indicate Marquette as your first-choice school with NMSC.

Who can apply
National Merit Finalists naming Marquette first choice who are admitted and enroll in an eligible degree program. Online degree programs are excluded. NMSC entry rules allow students attending high school in the United States, D.C. or U.S. territories without a universal citizenship requirement. Students attending high school abroad must meet the separate citizenship or permanent-residence requirements.
