- Award
- Full tuition (up to 17 credit hours per semester), mandatory fees, and the cost of room and meal plan, renewable over four consecutive years.
- Deadline
- For the 2027 NMSC competition, report Oklahoma Christian as first choice to NMSC by May 31, 2027, the final NMSC receipt date. Earlier reporting before March 1 joins the first college referral group; Oklahoma Christian does not publish a separate earlier National Merit cutoff.

- Be a National Merit Finalist and select Oklahoma Christian as your first-choice university with NMSC.

- Who can apply
- Incoming high school National Merit Finalists naming Oklahoma Christian first choice. NMSC entry rules allow students attending high school in the United States, D.C. or U.S. territories without a universal citizenship requirement. Students attending high school abroad must meet the separate citizenship or permanent-residence requirements.
- Good to know
- The National Merit section is under Additional Merit Scholarships, separate from the 2026-27 automatic academic-merit table. It currently lists full tuition up to 17 credits per semester, mandatory fees, room and meal plan for four consecutive years; renewal requires 3.0 cumulative OC GPA. NMSC's final 2027 first-choice receipt date is May 31, with initial college referrals for reports before March 1.
