How to apply

Apply for admission and submit transcript and highest composite ACT/SAT by test date. ACT superscores are not considered; science subsection is not required. Improved scores may increase award.

Who can apply

Entering freshmen pursuing a Bachelor of Science, with at least 3.0 unweighted cumulative GPA and ACT 24+ or SAT 1160+; highest tier ACT 35-36 or SAT 1530+. Scholarships are described as highly competitive.

Good to know

Renewable three additional years. Generally full-time minimum 12 Mines credits per semester and degree progress; multi-year renewal requires 24 Mines credits per academic year and 3.0 cumulative GPA unless award letter differs. Separate need-based Freedom award is excluded.
