- $18,000-$30,000 annually toward fall/spring charges; summer excluded. Renewable up to eight semesters with full-time enrollment and annual SAP review: at least 2.0 cumulative GPA and 75% cumulative attempted-credit completion, including accepted transfer credits. Institutional aid ends on earlier degree completion.

- How to apply
- Submit Trinity admission through Common Application, ApplyTexas or Coalition/SCOIR with personal essay, high-school transcript, teacher evaluation and secondary-school report/counselor recommendation. SAT/ACT are optional. International applicants follow their required school-record, English-proficiency and portal financial-declaration instructions. Automatic Murchison consideration through admission; no additional scholarship form.

- Who can apply
- Undergraduate entering first-year students with distinguished scholastic records. Transfer, continuing and graduate students excluded. A 3.5 core GPA is expected; the university recalculates an unweighted 4.0 core GPA and considers curriculum rigor. SAT/ACT optional; selection is independent of income.
- Good to know
- The published 3.5 expectation is not treated as a guaranteed award or an unconditional application cutoff. Renewal uses SAP, with no separate 3.0 college-GPA rule stated for Murchison. A one-time SAP appeal is available under the university policy by August 1. This award is separate from Tower and Semmes competitions.
