How to apply

Submit one original unpublished English response up to 250 words describing how you would survive a zombie invasion of your school and your five essential items. No revisions after submission. Four equal judging factors: writing, creativity, originality and overall excellence. Potential winner returns affidavit, release and copyright assignment within ten days, with parent/guardian if a minor.

Who can apply

Legal residents of the fifty U.S. states or D.C., age 14 or older, enrolled or enrolling by fall 2031 in accredited college, university or trade school. Sponsor employees/agents and immediate family/same household are excluded.

Good to know

Current headline still advertises $2,000 but the official prize clause says $1,500. Payment is directly to the institution after enrollment proof by 2031, with no cash substitute. All submission publishing rights/copyrights transfer to Unigo, and prize acceptance allows name/likeness promotion.
