- Either grades 10-12 or ages 15-18 as of December 1, 2026; U.S. citizen, permanent resident OR legally able to receive U.S. taxable income (such as SSN/ITIN). Prior National YoungArts Week attendees cannot reapply in any discipline. Individual applicants; collaborative elements may be allowed by category.

- Multiple category applications allowed, each with its own fee/waiver. AI rules vary by category. Applicants retain copyright, though winner works may be promoted. Week travel/lodging/meals are covered; payments issued by the end of June after award forms.
