- How to apply
- Prior-cycle rules: register a team of 3-5 students with a coach, then submit the team solution to the modeling problem within the 14-hour competition window. Check the next-cycle rules before registering.
- Who can apply
- Prior-cycle rules: high school juniors or seniors at eligible US schools, or sixth-form students ages 16-19 at eligible schools in England or Wales. International/exchange students enrolled at eligible schools may enter. Homeschool/cyber students have separate age and documentation rules.
- Good to know
- Team scholarships are shared equally among 3-5 team members and paid to a college. Some specialty awards may be added. The published dollar schedule appears with 2026 rules; check the 2027 rules when released.
