- How to apply
- Enter one local Rotary club contest and submit the contestant entry form before participating. The club representative enters its winner by March 13, 2027; only one student per school district may advance, with a runner-up substitution if needed. Attend the March 27, 2027 mid-level contest in Enola and, if selected among its top five, the April 17, 2027 finals in Reading. Local club entry deadlines vary.

- A finalist round or selection weekend
- Who can apply
- Grades 10 to 12 at a public, private or charter high school or homeschool within District 7390, and resident of Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Lancaster, Lebanon, Perry or York County, PA. Only one club contest per student per year.
- Good to know
- Original speech on a chosen topic, applying all four principles throughout. Length 5 to 8 minutes, with two-point penalties per 15 seconds or fraction outside the range. Notes allowed at club level; one non-electronic 3 x 5 card at mid-level; no notes at finals. No props at mid-level or finals. Both advancing rounds require in-person attendance.
