- Fall 2027 out-of-state amounts per year: Level 1 3.8+ GPA and ACT 30+ or SAT 1360+ $18,000; Level 2 3.8+ GPA $16,000; Level 3 3.5-3.79 $13,000; Level 4 3.0-3.49 $10,000.
- Deadline
- For fall 2027, admission, transcripts and test scores must be submitted by August 1, 2027. GPA or score improvements must be reflected in the WVU record by that date; GPA updates require a request.

- Automatic and non-competitive with admission. No separate application.

- Who can apply
- Out-of-state first-time freshmen at the Morgantown campus. WVU uses a weighted GPA if on the transcript, rounded to two decimals.
- Good to know
- Only Level 1 requires test scores. Renewable for up to eight undergraduate semesters or a first bachelor's degree with 2.75 overall GPA, 30 earned credits per academic year and full-time enrollment. Online programs are ineligible; in-state equivalency arrangements generally exclude nonresident awards.
