Full tuition for four years. Two Rev. Henry Bean, S.J. Scholarships each year; a Rev. William FitzGerald, S.J. Scholarship (awarded every four years) is offered this year to a member of the Class of 2031.

How to apply
Submit a Common Application or Coalition Application with the high-school transcript and counselor and teacher recommendations; SAT/ACT scores are optional. Complete the additional Classics Scholarship application, two essays (600 and 500 words) and one scholarship recommender. A second recommender and AP scores are optional; selected finalists interview. The currently linked form is the closed 2026 form, so obtain the correct 2027 form before applying.

Good to know
Holy Cross institutional scholarships are limited to eight semesters and require satisfactory academic progress; they cannot be refunded for off-campus housing. The department announces two Bean awards annually and the four-yearly FitzGerald award for the Class of 2031.
