- How to apply
- Submit the online application and 450-500 word essay on what inspired your accounting choice, without identifying information. Counselor submits the signed Guidance Department Form and supporting transcript/test-score information by the same deadline via mail, email or fax. The form permits n/a when scores are unavailable. Two-year college applicants also need a student-and-parent/guardian-signed letter of intent to complete the required accounting study at a four-year school. Finalists interview virtually.

- Who can apply
- New Jersey residents attending a New Jersey public, private/parochial or home school as college-bound seniors, U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents, entering a U.S. college next fall. Intend an accounting major or concentration of at least 24 accounting credits. Meet either three-year GPA 3.2 or equivalent, SAT 1260, or ACT 26; the score benchmarks are alternatives to GPA.
- Good to know
- A one-year $1500 award paid to the institution after a Scholarship Activation Form, plus mentoring through college. No automatic multi-year scholarship is promised. NJCPA may withdraw or reduce an award at the recipient’s request if it would cause loss of another scholarship. Interview attendance January 16, 2027 is mandatory.
