DirectoryScholarship
This is a group of awards reached through one application. Each award inside it has its own rules.
- Award
- Otherwise unreimbursed full tuition and required fees for four years, plus up to $900 per year for required books/equipment. Room, board and travel are excluded.
- Deadline
- County community foundations set different deadlines. Tippecanoe County’s Class of 2027 deadline was September 8, 2026 at 8 a.m.; this is an example, not a statewide deadline. Ask your home county foundation for its date.
- How to apply
- Apply through the community foundation in your home county. The county foundation nominates finalists and Independent Colleges of Indiana makes the final selection.
- What you'll need
- A finalist round or selection weekend
- Who can apply
- Indiana resident with a diploma from an accredited Indiana high school, pursuing full-time undergraduate bachelor’s study at an eligible Indiana four-year public or private nonprofit institution. The 2027 Tippecanoe notice requires graduation/diploma by June 30, 2027. Local county selection criteria, restrictions and procedures differ.
- Good to know
- 147 awards statewide; local county foundations nominate candidates for ICI final selection. Tippecanoe’s dated 2027 notice confirms its award coverage and expired deadline. County materials, eligibility details and ongoing award conditions must be checked locally; there is no uniform statewide essay requirement.
