FFTC scholarships
DirectoryScholarship
This is a group of awards reached through one application. Each award inside it has its own rules.
- Award
- Many donor scholarships (more than 150 funds); amounts vary.
- Deadline
- 2027-2028 application cycle opens December 1, 2026 and runs to March 5, 2027.
- How to apply
- Search the FFTC portal and create an account. Complete each fund’s application, prequalification questions and required uploads; most request a transcript, references, financial-aid information, resume or essays. FAFSA-ineligible applicants may submit an explanation. Online submission is required unless the fund states otherwise.
- Who can apply
- Primarily Carolinas-connected students, including high school seniors, college and graduate students and nontraditional learners; the broader fund directory also includes pre-K and school programs. Residency, school, field, need, GPA and other restrictions vary by fund.
- Good to know
- The main page explicitly posts December 1, 2026–March 5, 2027 for 2027-28. No common closing time or time zone is stated. The FAQ retains older SAR/EFC financial terminology, so confirm current documentation in the application. Recipients submit an acceptance form, and payments go to the institution; notify FFTC of status changes.
