- Who can apply
- Active member in good standing of an active Mu Alpha Theta chapter. Graduating high-school seniors, with full-time accredited college/university enrolment to receive funds; or full-/part-time two-year college members completing at least 30 semester credits/equivalent by end of application school year. Math achievement, chapter leadership/loyalty and mathematical service considered.
- Good to know
- Mary Rhein top award for math competitions; Paul R. Goodey for math-related research while a member; Kay Weiss for promoting women in STEM, without published female-only restriction. Research is specific to Goodey, not required for every award.
