Corporate-sponsored and Special Scholarships

This is a group of awards reached through one application. Each award inside it has its own rules.

Award

Sponsor-dependent one-time or renewable awards; official 2027 overview permits renewal up to four undergraduate years. Current generic guide range $2,500-$10,000 once or $1,000-$10,000/year is not a guaranteed award to any candidate. Individual 2027 sponsor amounts/conditions require sponsor confirmation.

Deadline

Corporate Entry Forms must be filed during qualifying-test academic year; 2027 candidates normally tested October 2025. Sponsor-specific Entry Form and school/NMSC application deadlines vary and require confirmation. Eligible non-Finalist Special Scholarship candidates receive materials through schools.

How to apply

Corporate Merit awards identify qualifying Finalists through National Merit application; Special Scholarship route generally also requires sponsor Entry Form and separate NMSC materials sent through school. Submit requested essay/academic/school-recommendation information according to individual instructions. Individual 2027 sponsor forms/materials are not checked by this grouped directory.

Who can apply

Merit route requires Finalist plus sponsor criteria such as employee family, community residence or major/career. Special route covers outstanding eligible program participants who are not Finalists but meet sponsor criteria. Undergraduate degree and current institutional enrolment/standing conditions apply; individual employer/location/other limits vary.

Good to know

Collection of materially different sponsor awards; no single universal application, amount or deadline. NMSC administers only one monetary award per student.
