Award
Tentative fall 2027 terms: up to 100 awards of $5,000 per year, renewable for up to three additional years or until a bachelor’s degree, whichever comes first; up to $20,000 per recipient. Tentative renewal depends on satisfactory academic performance, continued enrollment and one sponsor professional-development workshop each college year.

How to apply
Tentative fall 2027 application: online personal statement about paying it forward through college, current complete transcript and the first two pages of the most recent IRS Form 1040, with sensitive identifiers redacted. Submit all materials electronically.

Who can apply
Tentative fall 2027 terms require current public high school seniors in the 50 states, District of Columbia or Puerto Rico, financial need, 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale, planned full-time enrollment at an accredited two- or four-year U.S. college, community commitment and a publicity release. Private and home schools are excluded in these tentative terms. Sponsor/administrator employees and specified associates, professionals and immediate family members are excluded.
Good to know
The official administrator labels all upcoming-program information tentative and subject to change. Published renewal terms require satisfactory academic performance and continued enrollment; recipients must attend one professional-development workshop per college year. A selected teacher receives a separate $500 gift card. Confirm final eligibility when the application opens.
