UnconfirmedScholarship

This is a real program, but some details for the current cycle are not published or not yet confirmed. Check the official source before you plan around it.

Award
The current Children’s Fund directory lists donor-specific minimums, including two Kiwanis Children’s Fund Key Club awards of at least $2,460 each, one Wagner Family award of at least $4,500, and an Indiana-only Linda Canaday award of at least $3,440. The page does not label these as 2027 award amounts.
Deadline
Applications open November 1, 2026 and close February 1, 2027 at 11:59 PM ET.
How to apply
Create an account in Foundant and submit one universal application with a personal statement, one letter of recommendation and an unofficial transcript.
What you'll need
  • Recommendations
  • A short essay or statement
  • Membership in the sponsoring organization
Who can apply
Graduating high school members in good standing of Key Club International. Current donor awards have additional restrictions: Linda Canaday requires Indiana residence, a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale or equivalent, and two years of membership in good standing. Confirm the November 1 cycle-specific award list; Circle K awards are listed separately.
Good to know
The directory lists donor-specific award minimums and restrictions, but its application opportunities are posted November 1 and the page does not label the listed amounts for the 2026-27 application cycle. The Key Club calendar separately confirms November 1, 2026 to February 1, 2027. District and local Kiwanis scholarships are separate from this Children’s Fund listing.
