- How to apply
- Use one scholarship application through the PDK membership portal when the 2027-28 cycle opens. The current public instructions request a 250-word teaching/public-education statement, a 150-word association-involvement response, a 150-word other-activities response, up to three unofficial transcripts and one recommendation letter from someone outside your family. Confirm any changes when the new portal opens.

- Who can apply
- Members in good standing of Educators Rising, Educators Rising Collegiate, Pi Lambda Theta or PDK Association who plan to pursue a career in public education and will be enrolled in higher education, full- or part-time, paying tuition and fees in fall of the application year. Donor-specific criteria are matched through the one application.
- Good to know
- Awards cover higher-education tuition, fees, room and board for the fall academic year. Some donor scholarships are renewable for up to four years while pursuing education; others are one-time. The FAQ does not require U.S. citizenship. PDK plans a December 2026 opening for 2027-28, but generic January-opening language conflicts and no 2027 closing date is confirmed.
