- Who can apply
- Current sponsor guidelines: high school senior with community-service/volunteer leadership, U.S. residence in Alliant's service territory, age 24 or under, and applicant or dependent-child relationship to a utility customer in good standing. Enroll for the first time full time in STEM or a skilled trade at an accredited Iowa/Wisconsin school within Alliant's service territory, with GPA 2.5 to 4.0 on a 4.0 scale or equivalent. High-school dual enrollment is allowed. Company/administrator employees and specified family/household members are excluded.
- Good to know
- Financial need is not considered. The current sponsor independently publishes the GPA, first-time study, leadership and customer requirements; the administrator still labels its 2026 information tentative. Student customers are eligible in their own right, so applicants need not all be dependent children.
