Robert E. Evans Scholarship
Merit + needScholarship
Financial need is part of how this award is decided, alongside merit.
- Award
- Individual award amounts vary by available funding and the number of recipients; no fixed 2027-28 amount or renewal promise is published.
- Deadline
- 2027-28 application opens January 4, 2027. The FAQ gives a recurring March 31 closing date, while the explicitly dated prior deadline was March 31, 2026; the page has not explicitly confirmed the 2027 closing date.
- How to apply
- Apply online after January 4, 2027. Financial need must be documented using the FAFSA Student Aid Report requested by the official page; the complete next-cycle application and additional materials are not published.
- What you'll need
- A separate scholarship application
- Who can apply
- High school seniors living within a Peoples Bank market/service area in Ohio, Kentucky, West Virginia, Virginia, Maryland or Washington, D.C., with at least 3.5 GPA and financial need. Plan an accredited four-year degree in business, education, engineering, liberal arts, mathematics, science or technology. State residence alone does not establish service-area eligibility.
- Good to know
- Need is required, with preference for higher need. The current page explicitly confirms the January 4, 2027 opening and current general GPA/market-area rules, but does not provide the individual 2027-28 award amount or complete application/payment terms.
