- Award
- $10,000 yearly, renewable up to three additional years, maximum $40,000. Recipients must apply for renewal each year and remain in good academic standing. Covers education expenses charged through the student account, including tuition, fees, required books/supplies and on-campus room/board; generally excludes off-campus housing, transport, groceries, student loans and outside-account books.

- 2027 cycle dates not yet posted; the prior cycle opened October 13, 2025 and closed January 5, 2026 at noon CST.
- How to apply
- Published prior-cycle Kaleidoscope application: personal/parent/school/college/financial information, activities, service and paid work, leadership/service essay and goals statement. Semifinalists provide transcript, one recommendation, financial documents and a values statement; finalists attend a virtual interview. Full 2027 application/materials are not posted.

- Who can apply
- The current general FAQ limits the program to U.S. citizens and current high school seniors entering their first college year the following fall. The dated 2026 eligibility list requires 3.0/4.0 GPA or equivalent and full-time accredited four-year U.S. study, including homeschool and U.S. Armed Forces-base students abroad. Final 2027 GPA/enrollment criteria are not published.

- Apolitical program selected on leadership, drive, integrity, citizenship and merit. Financial information is considered, but no adjusted-gross-income eligibility threshold exists and applicants should not self-exclude solely for family income. Only selected recipients receive scholarship money, not all semifinalists/finalists.
