The currently linked 2026-27 guide uses one 250-500 wordessay plus personal, academic, financial and activity information, with no initial supporting documents or recommendations. Selected applicants later provide transcript and college/financial confirmation. The 2027-28 guide is not yet published.

- Currently published criteria still refer to fall 2026: U.S. citizens, nationals or permanent residents, plus citizens of the Marshall Islands, Federated States of Micronesia and Palau, in a degree-seeking U.S. accredited undergraduate program; no prior bachelor’s degree. Full-time and part-time students and all backgrounds were eligible. Confirm 2027-28 rules when updated.
