- Apply online through the ReviewR portal linked from the scholarship page: one-page letter of intent on beef-industry career goals, essay of 750 words or less on an industry issue, and two letters of recommendation.

- Who can apply
- Graduating high school seniors or full-time undergraduates enrolling at a two- or four-year institution for 2027-2028 who show commitment to a beef-industry career (education, communications, production, research or related). Applicant or family must be a National Cattlemen's Beef Association member.
- Good to know
- Ten $1500 awards for the 2027-28 year. Prior winners may apply again; a new application is required rather than automatic renewal. Essay 70%, intent letter 20%, references 10% of scoring. Career goals may include education, communications, production, research or other beef-industry work; no agriculture-only major requirement.
