Who can apply
Award-specific aviation, aerospace and related STEM programs at eligible post-secondary schools. General guidance says age 16+, U.S./Canadian citizenship or residence or valid work/study permission, and no prior master’s or doctoral degree. General post-secondary GPA guidance is 2.5 unweighted, but the Arcamuzi card says 2.0 and other awards require 3.0 or 3.2. Some require prior college coursework, age 19, a pilot certificate, specified location or an EAA Young Eagles connection.
Good to know
Membership is preferred, not required. The named programs have different academic levels, fields, need preferences and renewal conditions. Public guidance differs on U.S.-only versus U.S./Canada schools and on using funds by March 1 versus within one year of award; confirm the applicable award terms.
