AEA Educational Foundation Scholarships
DirectoryScholarship
This is a group of awards reached through one application. Each award inside it has its own rules.
- Award
- Named education awards currently range from $1000 to $5000, with different uses and applicant groups. Other offerings include convention travel of more than $1500 and a $6000 private-pilot training award. Individual renewal terms are not published.
- Deadline
- 2027-28 application not yet open; AEA says to check back in October. The 2026-27 deadline has passed.
- How to apply
- Use the AEA Educational Foundation scholarship application when it reopens. The current application page is disabled and does not show complete next-cycle materials or establish that one application covers every offering.
- What you'll need
- A separate scholarship application
- Who can apply
- Rules differ by named award. Many education awards serve seniors or college/vocational students in avionics or maintenance; Chuck Peacock serves aviation management and Pat Napolitano technician certification. Gene Baker and Jim Cook serve AEA member employees or dependents in any major. Other offerings are for member-company employees, convention attendance or private-pilot training.
- Good to know
- The current page says the 2026-27 deadline has passed and to check back in October for 2027-28. Individual GPA, citizenship, complete application materials and renewal conditions must be checked when that cycle opens. The Gogo program’s 20-year funding plan is not an individual student’s award duration.
