Seabee Memorial Scholarship

Merit + needScholarship

Financial need is part of how this award is decided, alongside merit.

Award
The current page quotes $2000-$6300 for the prior 2025-26 year; 2027 amounts and precise renewal criteria are not published.
Deadline
Current official page gives recurring January 1-April 15, with all supporting documents due April 15 at 11:59 p.m. PDT. It says the current season is closed and recipients notified by June 30, 2026; no explicit 2027 cycle dates.
How to apply
Apply online through the Navy Seabee Foundation when the next cycle opens. Current guidance lists essay, recommendation, activities/work history, FAFSA-based need and an official transcript with unweighted GPA; if absent, provide a counselor letter stating that GPA. The full next form is not public.
What you'll need
  • A separate scholarship application
Who can apply
High school seniors or first-time entering college freshmen under 23, with a parent/grandparent qualifying through the Naval Construction Force, a Seabee rating or Civil Engineer Corps service; other service branches assigned to Seabee units can qualify. Stepchildren/step-grandchildren may need relationship proof. Current FAQ states minimum 2.5 unweighted GPA; eligible programs include accredited two-/four-year degrees and CTE.
Good to know
The old scholarshipsinfopage URL no longer resolves; use the current scholarship page. Selection considers FAFSA-based need, academic record and complete application. The available page still quotes prior-year award values and lacks complete new-cycle forms/renewal conditions.
