How to apply

The complete form and award-specific rules are behind account access.
What you'll need
  • A separate scholarship application
  • Recommendations
Who can apply
Legally blind entering freshmen, undergraduates, graduate or technical-college students at U.S. postsecondary institutions, involved in school and community. Full-time students qualify, or part-time students working at least 32 hours weekly. A 3.0 GPA is required for most awards, with extenuating-circumstance exceptions; check the particular award.
Good to know
The page explicitly identifies November 1, 2026 through February 14, 2027 at 11:59 p.m. Central Standard Time for 2027–28. Awardees participate in the July national conference and convention. The page still references 2025–26 when discussing continuing-student admission proof; confirm that exception for the new cycle.
