This is a group of awards reached through one application. Each award inside it has its own rules.
- Award
- The 2026 form lists general awards up to $2,500, a $10,000 one-time Chariclea need-based award, a $5,000 graduate Mavroyannis award and Webster Athens full or 30% tuition routes. Current next-cycle amounts and full continuation rules are unconfirmed.
- Deadline
- 2027 deadline not yet posted; the 2026 applications were due March 31, 2026 by certified mail.
- How to apply
- The 2026 package required one tracked-delivery envelope, a 2-by-2-inch photo, original official transcripts sealed separately, exactly two non-family recommendations, and financial documentation for need consideration. Scores were requested for high school seniors if taken. The Chariclea route adds acceptance, notarized affidavits and recommendation and tax documents. The new form is not published.
- What you'll need
- A separate scholarship application
- Membership in the sponsoring organization
- Who can apply
- The 2026 application generally required Hellenic or Philhellene applicants with a 3.0 unweighted GPA, full-time accredited study and paid AHEPA-family membership through the applicant, parent or grandparent. Named routes add gender, major, residence, institution, membership-duration or financial-need rules. The form accepts citizenship and visa details beyond U.S. citizens and permanent residents; a blanket U.S. restriction is not established.
- Good to know
- The complete seven-page 2026 form was read. It lists both merit and financial-need routes; the income-under-$100,000 wording appears in the financial section, which tells applicants not seeking assistance not to supply tax forms, so its application to all merit routes needs clarification. The Chariclea section says March 30 while the general deadline is March 31. General awards limit prior recipients to one undergraduate and one graduate award; Webster routes give ongoing GPA criteria.
