AGWT High School Senior Scholarships (Baroid, Stetson-Shahroody, Flexcon Industries)

This is a group of awards reached through one application. Each award inside it has its own rules.

Award

$2,500 per individual award; a student may receive only one scholarship. Payment goes directly to the college. Continuing or repeat-award conditions are not stated.

Deadline

The application period opens January 31, 2027 and closes April 30, 2027. A closing time is not stated.

How to apply

The current rules list a completed application, groundwater-career essay of at most one typed page, one recommendation and high school transcript. The new 2027 submission form is due to appear during the application window. The old February 2025 PDF offers email/mail submission and a different postal address from the current rules page; confirm the new delivery instructions.

Who can apply

High school seniors entering full-time first-year study at an accredited two- or four-year U.S. college with appropriate groundwater-related fields, a minimum high school GPA of 3.0 and U.S. citizenship or legal U.S. residency. Intended groundwater careers may include science, engineering, treatment, conservation, management or law.

Good to know

All award cards and the rules were read. The three named awards each list $2,500; the page also lists an AGWT-funded award and Powers Electric, whose card still says 2025–26. One application considers all available awards, but only one may be won. The linked two-page form was updated in February 2025 and is not the promised new 2027 form.
