- Current high school seniors, minimum 2.5/4.0 GPA, entering full- or half-time U.S. undergraduate/vocational study in engineering, CS, CIS, law, business or listed related fields. Technology passion, leadership and financial assistance required. International students eligible. Microsoft employee families excluded. Current criteria do not require applicant disability.

- Academics, leadership, work, goals, essay and recommendation are evaluated; need is mandatory. Renewal requires 2.0 GPA and continued eligible major/enrollment. Posted cycle closed without next-year date.
