- Who can apply
- South Carolina resident at graduation/enrolment, U.S. citizen or eligible lawful permanent resident, eligible school/homeschool senior enrolling full-time in eligible SC institution. Early standard route: 3.50 unrounded SC UGP GPA after junior year, SAT 1200 or CHE-equivalent ACT (current packet 25), top 6% at end of sophomore/junior year. Late uses senior-year GPA and rank from sophomore/junior/senior year. Alternate route: 4.00 UGP GPA and SAT 1400 or current ACT equivalent 31 without rank. Mid-year graduates cannot use rank. Current regulation and packet include public two-year routes; confirm each participating institution because landing page and private two-year wording conflict. Specified criminal-history, aid-default/refund and lawful-presence restrictions apply.
