Award
Up to $10,000 lifetime tuition benefit, paid per credit up to 15 credits each semester: $40 lower/$60 upper division at NSHE community colleges, $60 Nevada State University, $80 other eligible institutions. Remedial/graduate courses excluded; student pays uncovered costs. Normally six years after high-school graduation, with military/service/disability extensions. Institution credits account; summer often requires upfront payment and later reimbursement.
Deadline
No separate traditional-school application deadline; school reports after graduation and student acknowledges award. Nontraditional forms refer to Board of Regents graduation-year limitations without stating a 2027 dated deadline.
How to apply
Traditional school reports eligible students; award packet normally mailed July/August, then student must acknowledge award online and complete citizenship affidavit. Enrol in recognised eligible degree/certificate programme with 12 university/state-college or nine community-college credits. Homeschool/out-of-state applicants use linked form with signed application, official sealed transcript if applicable, official ACT/SAT results, residency/dependency documents and homeschool district-waiver documentation as applicable.

Who can apply
Traditional Nevada public/private/charter graduate: 3.25 weighted or unweighted GPA OR SAT 1070/ACT 21, specified 4 English/4 math (Algebra II or higher)/3 science/3 history, and at least two years Nevada residency. Homeschool and out-of-state-school graduates have separate test, school-record and dependent-residency rules in linked forms; confirm those routes directly. U.S. citizenship is not universally required, but applicant must truthfully complete citizenship/immigration affidavit during award acknowledgement.
Good to know
Only eligible Nevada institutions; institutional award timing varies. Continued eligibility requires 2.75 semester GPA, satisfactory progress and completing required 12/9 credits. Reinstatement normally automatic after regaining requirements; programme expiration still applies. Current linked nontraditional forms bear October 2019 dates, despite 2024 filenames, and need confirmation for the applicant's graduation year.
