Published 2026-graduate estimates: $3,000 annually for ACT 32+ or SAT math 800/reading 800; $1,000 for ACT 30-31 or SAT math 800/reading 790-799. These are not confirmed 2027 cutoffs or awards. Statutory annual maxima $3,000/$1,000; divided fall/spring, no summer. Up to ten semesters or first bachelor, subject to appropriation.
Deadline
No scholarship application. Earn qualifying score by June testing immediately after graduation; July does not qualify. Exact 2027 qualifying test dates/cutoffs are not published. Respond by any individually assigned supplemental-document deadline.
How to apply
Automatic consideration from official ACT/SAT records and approved Missouri college choices; no FAFSA required. ACT superscores must be sent separately using code 2379 and testing-service fee. Allow six-to-eight weeks for scores to reach state; monitor Student Portal and correct conflicting residency/citizenship/college information. GED/HiSet applicants supply certificate copy. College certifies each term and disburses award.

Who can apply
Missouri resident and U.S. citizen/permanent resident, qualifying top-five-percent ACT/SAT score on national or approved special test (not residual); homeschool and GED/HiSet routes included. First-time full-time attendance at participating Missouri institution in academic year immediately after school completion, normally 12 credits or six with qualifying disability. Theology/divinity degree or certificate excluded. Current 2027 score cutoffs not published.
Good to know
Renewal normally cumulative college GPA 2.50 and institutional satisfactory progress; GPA requirement waived first academic year receiving payment. Receive at least one funded semester every academic year. Notify state of transfer. Approved exchange/nonprofit-government/medical deferral normally up to 27 months; military deferral has separate return timing. Only participating Missouri institutions.
