- How to apply
- Create/use North Dakota Login and complete Class of 2027 application. School submits Choice Ready eligibility report; nonpublic schools use verification form. Homeschool applicants supply notices of intent for home-education years, notarised grades 9-12 transcript and verification, official test and dual-enrolment records. Tests must be taken before graduation; send later-than-March ACT results to NDDPI code 2927. No annual reapplication after award; institution certifies renewal.

- Who can apply
- North Dakota resident at graduation with ND high-school diploma, including documented homeschool route. Essential Skills: 3.00 overall unweighted GPA, civics test 70%+, nine weeks career education/counselling, four-year rolling plan and four of eight additional indicators. Also complete two of three pathways: Post-Secondary Ready (ACT 24/SAT 1180 plus two approved academic indicators), Workforce Ready (required CTE/language coursework, ACT 24/SAT 1180 or WorkKeys all three scores 5+, plus two workforce indicators), Military Ready (ASVAB 50+, or 31+ with basic training within 90 days after graduation, required PE plus two indicators). ACT superscores allowed. Same dual course cannot satisfy both pathway indicators.

- Maximum combined $6,000 across ND scholarship programmes, $750 semester/$500 quarter, within six academic years of graduation. Approved ND institutions/professional/apprenticeship programmes only. Renew full time under institution definition and cumulative college GPA 2.75 checked each term; one below-GPA term exception, second loses eligibility. Earned-credit thresholds for semester payments three through eight: 24, 39, 54, 69, 84, 99. First two payments require full time. Approved graduate use/deferment can apply.
