How to apply

Private Utah high-school applicants upload a transcript; qualifying concurrent-enrollment coursework may require an official college transcript. Submit requested verification and follow the eligible college’s enrollment/payment procedures.

Who can apply
Class of 2027 graduate of a Utah high school with 3.3 cumulative GPA. Complete three AP/IB/concurrent-enrollment courses in grades 9-12, one each in English, math and science with approved USBE subject codes, before graduation. Complete FAFSA and enroll full time at an eligible Utah institution in fall after graduation unless an approved deferral applies. AP exam scores are not a universal requirement.
Good to know
Eligible Utah public institutions plus BYU Provo, Ensign, WGU and Westminster. Technical-college attendance can support a deferral rather than immediate scholarship payment. Confirm institution-specific enrollment and payment dates. Current guidance permits specified military, medical, humanitarian, religious-service and technical-study deferrals.
