Statewide Student Aid Program
DirectoryScholarship
This is a group of awards reached through one application. Each award inside it has its own rules.
- Award
- Donor awards vary. Current four-year program page lists $250-$7,500 per award; the general FAQ instead lists $250-$5,000, so a uniform range is not confirmed. Renewal is fund-specific.
- Deadline
- For 2026-27, traditional four-year and graduate deadlines were April 10, 2026 at 5 p.m. Eastern. Listed adult/independent bachelor’s, associate and credential routes accept applications through December 11, 2026 at 5 p.m. Eastern. 2027-28 dates are not published.
- How to apply
- Use ScholarshipSource with personal email. Prepare essay responses, a recent transcript if enrolled within the last five years, FAFSA SAI documentation (ask staff for a non-filer alternative), and at least one recommendation received by the applicable deadline. Finalists may provide the college aid package and an additional form. Renewal/reapplication materials and conditions depend on the offer.

- Who can apply
- Generally New Hampshire residents plus specified Vermont border communities and certain graduate medical students in Massachusetts/Connecticut. Students at accredited institutions, including out-of-state/international schools, may qualify. Four-year selection includes need, merit, community/work activities; some associate/credential programs do not emphasize academic excellence. Most funds do not restrict citizenship, but the FAQ says a small number do. Donor and program restrictions vary.
- Good to know
- Close to $8 million for nearly 2,000 students is aggregate annual funding. Main page and FAQ conflict on individual range and whether citizenship ever matters. Main age-based four-year routes and FAQ dependent/independent wording also need applicant-specific confirmation. Current portal is open for associate/adult bachelor’s routes only; full 2027-28 questions and dates remain unpublished.
