CFMT scholarships

This is a group of awards reached through one application. Each award inside it has its own rules.

Award

Many donor scholarships (more than 160 funds); amounts vary.

Deadline

General applications open annually December 1 at 8 a.m. Central and close February 1 at 11:30 p.m. Central; the page does not state the cycle year. Special funds use separate applications.

How to apply

Submit the general application through the CFMT portal. Special school and employer scholarships have separate application links. Selected recipients must complete follow-up forms by the stated June 1 deadline before payments to the college. For the general route, recommendations, transcripts and any supporting documents must also reach the online system by its deadline.

Who can apply

Primarily Middle Tennessee students pursuing a college degree, with some funds reaching students elsewhere in the United States or internationally. School, employer, field, financial need and other restrictions vary by fund.

Good to know

Decisions are listed annually for April 15; follow-up forms June 1; college payments in mid-July split between fall and spring. These dates are not labeled for 2027. Individual amounts and renewal conditions vary.
